Strictly necessary storage

To make the assessment work, Stress Check uses two small pieces of storage in your browser:

• • Session storage holds your current answers so your results page can show them. It is cleared automatically when you close the tab.
• • Local storage holds your theme preference (light or dark) so the site remembers it next time.

These are essential for the site to function and do not require consent under most privacy frameworks.

Analytics (optional)

The site operator may enable privacy-friendly analytics. When enabled:

• • Google Analytics 4: not enabled. Configured in Consent Mode with all storage consent set to denied by default, so no advertising or analytics cookies are written. Only aggregate, cookieless pings are sent.
• • Microsoft Clarity: not enabled. Configured with cookies=false so no Clarity cookies are written.

No third-party advertising trackers, remarketing pixels, or social widgets are used.

Managing your preferences

You can clear your local storage and session storage at any time from your browser's privacy settings. Because we only use cookieless analytics, there is no consent banner required — but you can still block scripts using your browser or an extension without breaking the assessment.
